The International Scleroderma Research Workshop is a biennial meeting co-chaired by Boston University School of Medicine, and Scleroderma Research Unit at The Royal Free Hospital. The meeting is held jointly with the Scleroderma Clinical Trials Consortium. The last meeting was held in Boston in 2006.
The Workshop focuses on research related to the pathogenesis of scleroderma and brings together scientists and clinical investigators to promote scientific exchange in relevant cell and molecular biology disciplines, to review clinical trials and methodology, and to create a strong bridge from bench to bedside.
