In-patient care at The Royal Free Hospital is offered for both investigation and treatment. Patients requiring admission for less than 6 days are admitted through the PITU Unit, which is open Monday to Friday. Patients requiring a longer period of stay are mainly admitted to Jenner Hoskins Ward.

Iloprost treatment, given over 6 hours for 3-5 days, is one of the main reasons for routine admission to the Royal Free. Patients requiring iloprost therapy are now offered infusions on a day case basis where they go home in the evening and return the next day. For those patients unable to travel back and forth we have on-site accommodation in South House.

If any in-patientone at the Royal Free would like a visit from Kim Fligelstone please ask one of the Ward Staff to phone her extension and if Kim is in she will gladly pop up.

In addition - you are an interested in a massage - Keith Hunt has a team of volunteers who will come to the ward and give you a massage, just ask a member of staff on the ward to refer you to Keith's team.
